Photos from Bolivia

Dear Reader, I’m still trying to catch up from months of not posting any entries or photos.  Life’s been busier the past week or so.  I finally have a chance to post some photos of Bolivia from our March trip to Machu Picchu.  We spent one day in Bolivia en route from Machu Picchu, Peru to Paraguay.  Unfortunately, we didn’t have a chance to enjoy the capital, La Paz, where we spent the night.  Instead, we traveled from La Paz to Lake Titicaca and enjoyed the Bolivian countryside and the lake.  The lake is amazing.  It’s the largest unspoiled lake I’ve ever seen.  Thank goodness for high altitudes and difficulty breathing, which hamper efforts to turn the lake into a major recreation center.  If the lake were in the United States, it would be highly frequented by tourists.  Enjoy the photos!

New photos…finally!

Are you tired of seeing photos of bananas in various stages of ripening?  Well, I am too!  I finally had a chance to put up some new photos.  I put up some photos from our recent trip to Machu Picchu in Peru.  We spent some time there in mid-March and had a wonderful time.  Machu Picchu truly is an amazing place and one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.  If you ever have a chance to visit Peru and Machu Picchu, I highly recommend it.

Over the next few days I will try to post some more photo albums and catch up with photos of South America and Paraguay.
